Revenue Generation
The successful impact of the Iowa Cattlemen’s Foundation on Iowa’s youth and the beef industry within the state is due to the financial support it receives from individuals and agribusinesses. Current revenue sources include bi-annual auctions, license plate revenue, sponsorships and donations.
“We could not do what we do for the cattle industry without the generous support of Iowa’s cattlemen and women and agribusinesses.”
- Lee Faris, President, Iowa Cattlemen's Foundation
The Iowa Cattlemen’s Foundation auction is held in conjunction with the Iowa Cattlemen’s Association winter conference, generating revenue through the sale of donated products and services. Auction contributions and purchases are welcomed from individuals, businesses and county cattlemen’s organizations.
Sponsorship of specific programs is available. In addition, the Iowa Cattlemen’s Foundation is equipped to receive planned estate and legacy gifts.
The Iowa Cattlemen’s Foundation is a non-profit organization with 501(c)3 status, defined as exempt by the IRS for payment of federal income taxes as a group organized for charitable, religious, scientific, literary or educational purposes.
